Get connected!

Whether or not you have started creating your remixable world for the Open Source Champions competition, the Creator Forum is the perfect place to connect with other creators! Not only can you bounce ideas off each other and ask other creators for technical help, but you can also check out the events to get additional help/tips on your entry on the Events Calendar

Here are some key events coming soon:

What is a Remixable world?
Remix Worlds is a feature in Horizon that allows creators to make their world(s) clonable and editable by other creators.

What is the Tutorial Mini-Challenge all about?
The MHCP Documentation Mini-Challenge is focused on creating high-quality tutorials and guides that fill knowledge gaps and build a strong, collaborative creator community. We want to empower creators like you to contribute task-based tutorials, how-to guides, and best practices that make learning easier and more engaging for everyone using the Worlds desktop editor.

What is the Interactive Asset Mini-Challenge all about?
Interactive Asset Mini-Challenge pushes creators to build dynamic and interactive assets that can be used and remixed by other creators. We’re specifically looking for assets that include scripts and are:

  • Dynamic: We want to see assets that come alive with scripts! Think interactive elements, animations, or effects that make your asset stand out.
  • Reusable: Your asset should be versatile enough to be used in various contexts, such as different worlds, scenes, or even genres. The more adaptable it is, the better!
  • Sharable: Your asset should be designed to be easily shared and remixed by other creators. This means making it easy to understand, modify, and integrate into their own projects.

Already working on your remixable world, assets, and/or tutorial but could use a little help? In addition to asking questions in the Creator Forum, the following resources are there to assist and may bring you one step closer to a winning project.

Now it’s time to get connected - we can’t wait to see your project!
